— Concept
MEGA offers a journey from its origin to tasting, exploring the brewing process of Hijos de Rivera beer and its history. Located in the Estrella Galicia factory, it allows visitors to witness the real stages of the production process, highlighting its authenticity and coexistence with day-to-day operations.
— Process
It is a comprehensive project in which we participate in the entire process, from generating the discourse, designing the building, the paths, the setting, the supports…to the smallest details such as the type of flooring, the tasting glasses and the ambient sound.
In 2014, our proposal was chosen from among three options and we executed the preliminary projects (we had to do two because the building was expanded) and the detailed designs in collaboration with the architectural studio Federico Soriano y Asociados.
In 2017 the architectural work was completed and we began production of the museography, which culminated in 2019. The space was inaugurated on 19 June.
— Experience
Visitors can choose between different types of experiences depending on their interests, and throughout the tour they can see, touch, taste and feel the world of beer. Visitors wear a wristband with a chip that adapts content based on their interests, ensuring a unique and interactive experience for each user.
